Balance worth checkin out in 4.2 as off spec?

[:1]Hey all. I have not played balance spec since ICC raiding, and am kinda itching to have it as my alt spec in 4.2. I'm primarily a healer with feral as my dps off spec and I'm wondering if I will be disappointed with balances throughput versus feral in 4.2 and if I'd be able to pretty much use my healing gear (minus trinkets) in balance spec since spirit=hit?
