[:1]SO!! Right after Cata came out I leveled my one and only druid to 80. I was excited and so on, but was FAR from ready to do anything in Cata. I enjoy healing and had a blast with my boomkin, but for some stupid reason, I decided I wanted to experiment with bear tanking. This ment new gear and such. So I bought cheapy throw away greens on the AH to experiment with... I think this would of been alright except I didn't have any of the necessary stats for the feral spec to work properly. So i went back to balance ( I have always kept the resto), only to find that i am seriously under geared or something. My question is this, for restoration (which I love) where should I be going for gear? Also, If i were to attempt feral spec again where should i be getting gear?
Thanks!
Read the stickies.
Yes, read the stickies.
I would also mention that tanking right now is... harder. Back in WotLK, it was quite literally a face-roll. But of course it was almost too easy, so was boring. The rotation now is a bit more involved. But more importantly, tanking trash and multiple-target mobs is really unpleasant for us right now. Patch 4.1 will fix that to some extent by increasing the utility of our Savage Defense against multiple targets and decreasing the CD on our swipe ability by half. So take that in mind. I don't even enjoy tanking heroics at all anymore. I'm rage starved, don't do enough threat/damage b/c of no Vengeance at the start and only 2 AoE moves with 6 second CD's...
